How the tag works
The code printed on the back never changes — but where it goes is looked up fresh every single scan.
Edit the record, the tag follows. Change allergies, meds, your phone number or the vet and the next person to scan sees it. You never reprint.
You get notified when someone scans it, same as the printable QR.
It's re-assignable. Point the same tag at a different dog any time from this app.
A scan needs a data connection — that's the trade for always being current. The printable QR in the app works offline but goes stale when you edit.
